Our Commitment

We take pride in the quality of our workmanship and materials. Subject to the terms and conditions outlined below, we warrant that all custom joinery manufactured and installed by Prime Kitchens will be free from defects in workmanship and structural integrity for a period of ten (10) years from the date of practical completion.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers:

  • Structural failure of cabinetry or joinery components resulting from defective workmanship.
  • Failure of joints, fixings, or assembly methods under normal residential use.
  • Delamination of cabinet components due to manufacturing defects.
  • Installation defects directly attributable to Prime Kitchens.

Where a valid warranty claim is accepted under this warranty, Prime Kitchens will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the affected component;
  • Replace the affected component; or
  • Provide an alternative remedy deemed appropriate.

Hardware & Manufactured Components

Hardware, fittings, appliances, sinks, lighting, benchtops, and third-party manufactured products supplied as part of the project are covered by the respective manufacturer’s warranty and are subject to that manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Examples may include:

  • Hinges and drawer runners
  • Handles and accessories
  • Benchtops
  • Appliances
  • Sinks and tapware
  • Lighting products

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Cosmetic changes that occur naturally over time.
  • Scratches, dents, chips, burns, impact damage, or accidental damage.
  • Water damage resulting from leaks, flooding, moisture ingress, plumbing failures, or inadequate ventilation.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, abuse, or improper cleaning methods.
  • Movement, cracking, or damage resulting from building settlement, structural movement, earthquakes, storms, or other events beyond our control.
  • Alterations, repairs, or modifications undertaken by others.
  • Colour variation, fading, ageing, or natural movement of timber and timber veneer products.
  • Commercial applications unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Owner Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, owners must:

  • Use the joinery for its intended purpose.
  • Follow all care and maintenance recommendations provided by Prime Kitchens.
  • Maintain a suitable indoor environment and adequate ventilation.
  • Promptly address any plumbing leaks, moisture issues, or building defects that may affect the joinery.
